Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people's representative before God and bring their disputes to him.
Exodus Chapter 18: Verse 19
Then they said to him, "Please inquire of God to learn whether our journey will be successful."
Judges Chapter 18: Verse 5
The Israelites went up and wept before the LORD until evening, and they inquired of the LORD. They said, "Shall we go up again to battle against the Benjamites, our brothers?" The LORD answered, "Go up against them."

2 Samuel Chapter 19: Verse 43
Then King Rehoboam consulted the elders who had served his father Solomon during his lifetime. "How would you advise me to answer these people?" he asked.
They replied, "If today you will be a servant to these people and serve them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your servants."
But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him.
1 Kings Chapter 12: Verses 6 - 8
Naaman's servants went to him and said, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, 'Wash and be cleansed'!"
So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.
2 Kings Chapter 5: Verses 13 - 14
He asked them, "What is your advice? How should we answer these people who say to me, 'Lighten the yoke your father put on us'?"
2 Chronicles Chapter 10: Verse 9
he followed the advice of the young men and said, "My father made your yoke heavy; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions."

Luke Chapter 14: Verse 31
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
