"You shall not steal.
Exodus Chapter 20: Verse 15

"If a man steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep.
"If a thief is caught breaking in and is struck so that he dies, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;
but if it happens after sunrise, he is guilty of bloodshed. "A thief must certainly make restitution, but if he has nothing, he must be sold to pay for his theft.
"If the stolen animal is found alive in his possession,whether ox or donkey or sheep,he must pay back double.
"If a man grazes his livestock in a field or vineyard and lets them stray and they graze in another man's field, he must make restitution from the best of his own field or vineyard.
Exodus Chapter 22: Verses 1 - 5

The LORD said to Moses:
"If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the LORD by deceiving his neighbor about something entrusted to him or left in his care or stolen, or if he cheats him,
or if he finds lost property and lies about it, or if he swears falsely, or if he commits any such sin that people may do-
when he thus sins and becomes guilty, he must return what he has stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to him, or the lost property he found,
Leviticus Chapter 6: Verses 1 - 4

Leviticus Chapter 19: Verse 11

" 'If anyone takes the life of a human being, he must be put to death.
Anyone who takes the life of someone's animal must make restitution,life for life.

fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has injured the other, so he is to be injured.

Deuteronomy Chapter 5: Verse 19

If you see your brother's ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to him.
If the brother does not live near you or if you do not know who he is, take it home with you and keep it until he comes looking for it. Then give it back to him.
Do the same if you find your brother's donkey or his cloak or anything he loses. Do not ignore it.
If you see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help him get it to its feet.
Deuteronomy Chapter 22: Verses 1 - 4

(though the father has done none of them): "He eats at the mountain shrines. He defiles his neighbor's wife.
He oppresses the poor and needy. He commits robbery. He does not return what he took in pledge. He looks to the idols. He does detestable things.
He lends at usury and takes excessive interest. Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these detestable things, he will surely be put to death and his blood will be on his own head.
Ezekiel Chapter 18: Verses 11 - 13

Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites, because the LORD has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: "There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land.
There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying.
Hosea Chapter 4: Verses 1 - 3

Mark Chapter 7: Verses 15 - 23

If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.
Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
Luke Chapter 6: Verses 29 - 30

A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good,except God alone.
You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.' "

Romans Chapter 2: Verses 21 - 22

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.
